Before you trade in: a five-minute checklist

Back up, sign out, and know your battery health. Doing these three things first usually gets you a better quote.
Five minutes, better offer
Most people lose value on a trade-in for avoidable reasons. Do these three things before you come in and the process takes two minutes instead of twenty.
- Back up to iCloud or Google, then confirm the backup completed
- Sign out of iCloud, Find My or your Google account, then factory reset
- Check your battery health so you know roughly what to expect
What raises the offer
Higher storage tiers, battery health above 85%, an intact original box, and no third-party repairs. A case and screen protector that were on since day one usually pay for themselves at this point.
What we cannot accept
Devices still locked to an account, devices reported lost or stolen, and anything with severe liquid damage. If you are not sure, send a photo on WhatsApp first and we will tell you honestly.
