How we grade every device: Mint, Pristine and Satisfactory explained

Condition grades should mean something. Here is exactly what we check and what each grade looks like in the hand.
Why grading matters
Condition descriptions are where most second-hand listings quietly mislead. "Good condition" means nothing if nobody defines it. We use three grades and apply them the same way every time.
The three grades
- Mint — indistinguishable from new under normal indoor light. No visible marks on the screen or frame.
- Pristine — very light marks, usually only visible when tilted against a light source.
- Satisfactory — clear signs of use such as scuffs on the frame or fine screen scratches. Fully functional.
What we test on every unit
Grading covers cosmetics. Function is separate, and non-negotiable. Every device gets battery health measured, the display checked for burn-in and touch faults, and every camera, speaker, microphone, port and sensor function-tested before it is listed.
If a unit fails, it either gets repaired with quality parts and re-tested, or it does not go on sale at all.
